OpenSeas VPN Manager Privacy Policy

Personal info

By default, OpenSeas VPN Manager does not collect or request personal information from users that could lead to identification.

Anonymous info

Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics of OpenSeas VPN Manager, such as device country, device language, vendor of device, version of operating system, name and version of used app are stored to improve the application experience.

Requests for pre-packaged VPN configurations include their own anonymous device identifier collected from a user's device to prevent abuse. This ID is unique to the specific application installation in all cases and cannot be used to track users outside of OpenSeas VPN Manager usage.

How we collect info

Application usage metrics and crash reports are automatically collected by the AppCenter Analytics API and Google Play Store.

OpenSeas offers pre-packaged configuration based VPN services that users may opt to use. Use of this VPN service exposes a user's public IP address to the service, but is not stored. Traffic passed through the VPN service is not logged and remains untouched as it's directed to its destination.

Third Party Services

OpenSeas VPN Manager enables users to connect to third-party VPN services. Users of third-party VPN services managed by OpenSeas VPN Manager should consult with their provider's privacy policy for details on what connection information is logged.

How we use your info

Anonymous metrics of both application usage and pre-packaged VPN configuration usage are stored to improve the application experience.

When we share your info

No information is ever shared with third parties. Usage metrics are for internal use only.
